KnitWeave Scarf

Pattern: My own, a variation on Linen Stitch
Yarn: Schoeller Stahl Winter Cotton

Needles: Denise Circs, #8 (two sizes larger than gauge of yarn)

In Mary Thomas' Book Of Knitting Patterns, I found the history of KnitWeaving (Linen Stitch) as originating in the England in the 1600's and was used primarily for male and outdoor garments. This technique does make for a heavy-weight fabric and is extremely durable. My variation allows for a more reversible stitch.
